Key takeaways
- The Camellias is the benchmark tower, with homes from 7,196 sq ft and an indicative range of ₹75 to 195 crore on our register.
- The Magnolias and The Aralias offer large single-floor homes, from about 5,600 to 5,800 sq ft, at indicative ranges of ₹40 to 70 crore and ₹32 to 60 crore.
- The Crest suits buyers who want the DLF Phase 5 standard in smaller homes, from about 2,350 sq ft, at an indicative ₹13 to 34 crore.
- The Grove is the low-rise option, with four-storey buildings and homes of 2,422 to 4,521 sq ft; confirm its occupancy certificate before committing.
- Resale prices depend on floor, aspect and finish, so compare homes individually and on carpet area, not only on tower.
For most families looking at Golf Course Road luxury apartments, the decision turns on scale and entry price. The Camellias is the benchmark, with homes from about 7,200 sq ft. The Magnolias and The Aralias offer large single-floor homes at a gentler price, The Crest gives the address without the square footage, and The Grove is the low-rise alternative. Four of the five are ready to move; The Grove is listed as nearing possession.
What makes Golf Course Road luxury apartments different?
Golf Course Road is the corridor where Gurugram's prime market was first established, and these five DLF towers are the reason. Four of them, The Camellias, The Magnolias, The Aralias and The Crest, stand on the Golf Course Road itself, in DLF Phase 5. The Camellias, The Magnolias and The Aralias look onto the fairways of the DLF Golf & Country Club. The Crest looks to the Aravalli ridge, and The Grove sits on tree-lined Park Drive.
All five are resale purchases from first owners, which matters. Each home is individually priced, and its value depends on floor, aspect and above all on how it has been finished. At The Aralias, for instance, homes were handed over as bare shells, so interiors differ enormously from one apartment to the next. We therefore treat the figures below as a map, not a price list.
How do the five towers compare?
| Tower | Homes | Size (sq ft) | Indicative range | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Camellias | 429 on 17.5 acres | 7,196 to 16,290 | ₹75 to 195 Cr | Townhouse-scaled; private club; the top of the market |
| The Magnolias | 589 on 22 acres | 5,825 to 9,800 | ₹40 to 70 Cr | Lagoon pool; fairway or water views; settled community |
| The Aralias | 254 on 22 acres | 5,575 to 10,800 | ₹32 to 60 Cr | The original; classical towers; individually finished homes |
| The Crest | 504 on 8.8 acres | 2,349 to 6,221 | ₹13 to 34 Cr | Six slim towers; forest views; beside Rapid Metro |
| The Grove | 292 on 5.3 acres | 2,422 to 4,521 | ₹8.25 to 15.5 Cr | Four-storey buildings; rooftop terraces; access to Club5 |
These are indicative ranges from our own register and not transaction prices. Size is quoted in super area, so reduce any comparison to carpet area before judging value, as we explain in our note on new launch or resale.
Which tower suits which buyer?
The Camellias suits the family that wants the best of what the corridor offers and expects to stay. Floor plates carry only a handful of homes, terraces face the greens, and the residents' club has a spa, a hammam, squash and tennis courts and a private screening room. The crowning tower rises roughly 156 metres. It is also where the highest per-square-foot resale prices on Golf Course Road have been recorded, so entry is expensive.
The Magnolias is for those who want much of the same experience at a lower entry point. Towers are arranged around a long, tree-lined lagoon pool, and single-floor homes begin at about 5,800 sq ft. Many have been reworked by well-known interior studios, which can save a buyer the cost of a renovation, or add one if the taste is not yours.
The Aralias suits buyers who value provenance and calm. It was the first of DLF's golf-facing residences, its cream, classically detailed towers enclose a central garden, and turnover is low. The finish is the buyer's own, so inspect each home as an individual object. It also has the lowest entry price of the three larger towers.
The Crest is the practical choice: three, four and five-bedroom homes from about 2,350 sq ft on a compact site, with a clubhouse and lobbies detailed by Richmond International and a floor-to-floor height of about 3.2 metres. Upper floors face the Aravalli forest belt. It suits a family that wants the DLF Phase 5 standard without a mansion-sized apartment.
The Grove is for those who would rather have a garden terrace than a fortieth-floor view. Buildings are four storeys, interiors are by London's GA Design, and each building has rooftop gardens. The homes sold within days of launch, and our listing shows it as nearing possession, so confirm the occupancy certificate before committing.
What should you check before buying in an established tower?
Established towers lower construction risk, not diligence. Our checklist:
- Condition, not only finish. Ask about plumbing, lifts, air-conditioning and any renovation approvals from the society.
- Aspect through the year. View a home in the afternoon and, if possible, in more than one season; fairway and forest views vary.
- Dues and transfer charges. Request the society's no-dues certificate and its transfer terms.
- Title and occupancy. Have counsel check the chain of title, and the occupancy certificate for any home recently completed.
- Total cost. Stamp duty, registration and other charges add materially to the price; we set them out in what it really costs to buy a luxury home in Gurgaon.
Should you buy resale here, or wait for a launch?
A completed home can be lived in within weeks, carries no GST, and lets you see what you are buying. The newer launches on the corridor and its extension offer a first-owner build, but possession is years away. Which is right depends on your calendar more than on price, and our framework is in the note linked above. To see current availability across all five towers, browse the collection.

Frequently asked questions
Which is the best luxury apartment tower on Golf Course Road?
+
There is no single best; it depends on the buyer. The Camellias is the benchmark for scale and privacy, with homes from about 7,200 sq ft. The Magnolias and The Aralias give large single-floor homes at lower prices. The Crest suits smaller households, and The Grove suits those who prefer a low-rise garden terrace to a high floor.
How much does a luxury apartment cost on Golf Course Road?
+
On our register, indicative resale ranges run from about ₹8.25 to 15.5 crore at The Grove, ₹13 to 34 crore at The Crest, ₹32 to 60 crore at The Aralias, ₹40 to 70 crore at The Magnolias and ₹75 to 195 crore at The Camellias. These are indicative ranges, not transaction prices, and vary with floor, view and finish.
What is the difference between The Camellias and The Magnolias?
+
The Camellias has slimmer towers, fewer homes per floor, townhouse-scaled residences from 7,196 sq ft and a private residents' club with a spa and hammam. The Magnolias has larger floor plates around a lagoon pool, single-floor homes from 5,825 sq ft and a lower entry price, with an established, owner-occupied community.
Are Golf Course Road apartments ready to move?
+
Four of the five towers we cover, The Camellias, The Magnolias, The Aralias and The Crest, are listed as ready to move, and all are resale purchases from first owners. The Grove is listed as nearing possession, so confirm the occupancy certificate and handover status before committing to a purchase there.
Why are Aralias homes finished so differently?
+
The Aralias, the first of DLF's golf-course residences, was handed over with homes as bare shells, so each owner finished their own to individual taste. The best are exceptional, but quality, age and condition vary widely, which is why each apartment should be inspected as an individual home rather than judged by the tower.
Is it better to buy a resale or a new launch on Golf Course Road?
+
A completed home can be occupied within weeks and attracts no GST, whereas launches on the corridor and its Extension carry indicative possession dates of 2030 to 2033. A launch offers choice of unit and a first-owner build. The decision turns mainly on how soon you need to move.
