Golf Course Extension Road
Golf Course Extension Road continues south from Golf Course Road, linking Sector 58 to Sohna Road, and is where the city's premium developers have concentrated their recent launches. It offers newer towers, larger land parcels and more amenity per apartment than the established corridor.
The next ring of luxury, with room to build
The character
Until about a decade ago this was largely open land. The road was extended to relieve Golf Course Road and to open the sectors beyond it, and developers followed with gated townships and tall, amenity-heavy towers in Sectors 58 to 66.
The character is therefore that of a newer, planned district: modern towers, generous podium gardens, clubhouses that rival hotels, and a growing set of schools and retail clusters. It is less leafy than Phase 5, and the surroundings are still in transition, with construction continuing across several sectors.
For many buyers it is the practical successor to Golf Course Road. The best projects deliver comparable specification at a lower rate per square foot, though location within the corridor matters considerably: proximity to Sector 56 and the metro is different from the southern end.
It suits
- Buyers wanting new construction with modern amenities and branded developers
- Families trading up from Gurugram's older sectors
- Investors seeking launches with a credible appreciation path
- NRIs who prefer a project with a defined handover timeline

- ₹22,000 – 42,000 per sq ft
- Indicative, 2026. Premium branded launches sit at the upper end
- Established mid-premium stock (resale)

- Indicative, 2026. Corridor averages from portals differ considerably

Hospitals
Artemis Hospital and Medanta The Medicity within a short drive; further multi-speciality hospitals planned in the corridor
Clubs & golf
DLF Golf and Country Club and Classic Golf & Country Club within reach; large private clubhouses in most projects
Dining & retail
Growing neighbourhood retail, with the wider Golf Course Road and Sohna Road restaurant circuit close by
What’s ahead
Several large launches by DLF, Godrej, M3M and others continue to add supply, together with road widening on connecting stretches and metro extension plans for the south of the city. Social infrastructure is catching up, but timelines for metro and new schools should be treated as intentions rather than certainties until works begin.
Before you buy, weigh
- 01Supply is heavy, so sellers of resale stock may face a longer wait and the premium on new launches should be tested against comparable transactions.
- 02Peak-hour traffic on the extension and at the Sohna Road junction can be difficult, and metro access varies sharply by sector.
- 03Possession risk on under-construction projects should be assessed through the RERA registration, approvals and the developer's delivery record.
- 04Water and power infrastructure in newer sectors is still maturing; ask what each project provides independently.
“We think this corridor suits buyers who value new construction and are comfortable with a neighbourhood that is still forming. We tend to recommend a short list of the strongest developers and to be demanding about sector location and delivery record.”
